Tenzin (Post-Production)

Co-written and performed by several exiled Tibetan-Canadians, TENZIN is about a young man who has one foot in Western youth culture, and the other, somewhat reluctantly, in the devoted community of his fellow exiled Tibetans. News soon comes that his brother has self-immolated in political protest of the Chinese rule of his ancestral homeland. Tenzin’s misery and confusion are at odds with the community’s reaction of pride and sorrowful acceptance.

Directed by Michael LeBlanc and Josh Reichmann
